With William Hague and other Westminster warmongers traipsing between TV studios to condemn Russian intervention in Ukraine, most clued-up nationalists instinctively reject the controlled media’s propaganda.

They are, of course, right. As principled nationalists, we naturally sympathise with the desire of Ukrainians for self-determination and for recognition for the terrible suffering of their people during the genocidal Hunger Holocaust inflicted on them by the Bolsheviks.

But such sentiments do not justify collaboration with the EU and US-based neo-cons, whose long-term aims are to subjugate the whole of Eastern Europe to globalist looting and a Frankfurt School style destruction of traditional identity and culture.

Red terror not ‘Russian’

The greatest irony of all is that, while naive Ukrainian nationalists blame Russia for the murder of millions during the 1930s, the Bolsheviks were overwhelmingly not Russian at all, although the majority of their victims were.

Indeed, the radical Jewish racism and supremacism and anti-Christian hatred that in the 1930s produced the Bolshevik terror, now largely find their outlet in the extreme Zionism, anti-white fanaticism and globalism of the neo-cons.

The Ukrainian nationalists who provided the backbone of the recent revolution/coup against the elected but pro-Russian government are undoubtedly sincere, but they have been manipulated, organised, funded and armed by sinister forces in the West, which are in reality very far from being Western.

Cow-towing

Their leaders are not naive; they know exactly what they are doing. This is shown by their accepting weapons from Poland and  meeting with leading neo-con puppets from Poland (when their ideological forebears were extremely anti-Polish), and by their high-profile meeting with the Israeli ambassador, where they reaffirmed their commitment to all the usual liberal-left shibboleths, including respect for all minorities – except, of course, Russians.

This explains and justifies the Russian intervention in the Crimea, which as well as being a strategic area within Russia’s legitimate sphere of influence is also populated by ethnic Russians.

A fact that the controlled media won’t let you know is that the Crimea was Russian until the Soviet leader Kruschev ‘gave’ it to Ukraine. Thus for Russia to take steps now to retain control of the area is as reasonable as it is inevitable – and entirely consistent with the nationalist principle of self-determination.

Protecting civilians

Further, Ukrainian chauvinists have a shocking record of launching brutal ethnic cleansing massacres of minorities, in the 1940s (mainly Poles and Hungarians, who were targets of the hatred now beginning to be displayed towards Russians). So it is not surprising or unreasonable for Putin to show that he is prepared to intervene to protect the huge Russian population of eastern Ukraine.

Nationalists from all over Europe are in touch with contacts on both sides of this tragic potential European Brothers’ War urging restraint.

Ukraine is a long way away, but the peaceful settlement of the unfinished tragic divisions there and indeed in many parts of Europe – created by deliberate divide-and-rule population-mixing by 19th century empires and the insanely unjust ‘peace’ imposed by the victors of WW1 – matters to us.

We see in Ukraine how such old divisions can and will be exploited by sinister globalist power-grabbers.

Principle for peace

The only just and practical solution which will thwart those who would use old tragedies for their own ends is to recognise the right of self-determination by long-established local majorities.

This has to be negotiated through ‘velvet divorces’ of the kind carried out between the Czech and Slovak Republics, or by copying the canton system that brought permanent peace to Switzerland.

Foreign powers should stay out, which lf course includes Britain and the USA. Rather than lecturing Putin, the political pygmy William Hague should take the crisis in Ukraine as a warning about the growing danger of ‘Balkanization’ between different ethnic groups here in Britain.

Ukraine is Russia’s business because millions of Russians live there and because it is in Russia’s backyard, at a time when neo-con warmongers have an openly stated plan to encircle and dominate Russia.

Keep Britain out!

But what happens there is none of Britain’s business. So we oppose the British government putting British jobs at risk or adding to international tensions (and higher fuel prices) by wittering on about ‘consequences’ for Russia such as sanctions.

And we condemn the hypocrisy of the fortunately equally toothless US for accusing Russia of ”invading other countries on bogus pretexts” when those WMDs still haven’t turned up in Iraq!

Britain has more than enough problems for our government and our taxes to try to put right.  So we should steer well clear of the sabre-rattling over Ukraine, because it’s not for us to interfere.

Multiculturalism has failed in the Ukraine

Multiculturalism has failed everywhere in the world it has been tried, and at any time in history it has been tried. The Soviet Union forcibly moved large numbers of ethnic Russians into it’s Baltic and Eastern European Republics. Today, there is conflict between these Russians and the native populations all over. In Moldova, the Russian area wants to secede. In Georgia, we say a recent genocidal war against the ethnic Russian minority. In Estonia, Russians and Estonians are in constant opposition.

Now the Ukraine is being ripped apart along ethnic lines. The Western Ukraine, which is the most Ukrainian, is in open rebellion.

In the Ukraine, Estonia, and probably elsewhere, the ethnic Russian community is the base for Communist parties. Not necessarily because they believe in communism, but because they are nostalgic for when their ethnic group was top dog in the region. The ethnic Russian newcomers held the majority of the government jobs before the collapse of the Soviet Union. The other ethnic groups view the Russian minorities as their former oppressors.

The Atlantic…

I’m not arguing necessarily that Ukraine should split up. I am saying, however, that were it to split, were something like that to occur, and especially if those three problematic provinces—the two in the [eastern region of the] Donbas, Luhansk and Donetsk, and arguably even the Crimea– were to leave, Ukraine frankly would be better off. Not because there is some kind of instinctive incapacity on the part of Ukraine to be a diverse country, that’s precisely one of the points that the article makes—that every country in the world is diverse, it has divisions between east, west, north, south, and so forth. So in that sense Ukraine’s vaunted east-west division is not that unusual.

But the fact of the matter is that the Donbas is an economic black hole; it is a drain on Ukraine’s resources, it happens to be home to the most retrograde part of the population, not because they are Russians or Russian speakers, but because they are the equivalent of American southerners who supported racism and Jim Crow [laws]. And last but not least it is home to the Party of Regions and the Communist Party, that’s where their bases are.

So objectively if one were to imagine Ukraine without these two or three provinces, the economy would automatically improve, the politics would automatically improve, Ukraine would automatically become more democratic, richer, more prosperous, and stable. I also think that despite the fact that members of the Party of Regions or the Yanukovych regime or regional leaders from these areas—with the exception perhaps of Crimea—are constantly threatening to secede, I don’t think that they seriously mean it.

Paul Craig Roberts: Is Ukraine Drifting Toward Civil War And Great Power Confrontation?

People ask for solutions, but no solutions are possible in a disinformed world. Populations almost everywhere are dissatisfied, but few have any comprehension of the real situation. Before there can be solutions, people must know the truth about the problems. For those few inclined to be messengers, it is largely a thankless task.

The assumption that man is a rational animal is incorrect. He and she are emotional creatures, not Dr. Spock of Star Trek. Humans are brainwashed by enculturation and indoctrination. Patriots respond with hostility toward criticisms of their governments, their countries, their hopes and their delusions. Their emotions throttle facts, should any reach them. Aspirations and delusions prevail over truth. Most people want to be told what they want to hear. Consequently, they are always gullible and their illusions and self-delusions make them easy victims of propaganda. This is true of all levels of societies and of the leaders themselves.

We are witnessing this today in western Ukraine where a mixture of witless university students, pawns in Washington’s drive for world hegemony, together with paid protesters and fascistic elements among ultra-nationalists are bringing great troubles upon Ukraine and perhaps a deadly war upon the world.

Many of the protesters are just the unemployed collecting easy money. It is the witless idealistic types that are destroying the independence of their country. Victoria Nuland, the American neoconservative Assistant Secretary of State, whose agenda is US world hegemony, told the Ukrainians what was in store for them last December 13, but the protesters were too delusional to hear.

In an eight minute, 46 second speech at the National Press Club sponsored by the US-Ukraine Foundation, Chevron, and Ukraine-in-Washington Lobby Group, Nuland boasted that Washington has spent $5 billion to foment agitation to bring Ukraine into the EU. Once captured by the EU, Ukraine will be “helped” by the West acting through the IMF. Nuland, of course, presented the IMF as Ukraine’s rescuer, not as the iron hand of the West that will squeeze all life out of Ukraine’s struggling economy.

Nuland’s audience consisted of all the people who will be enriched by the looting and by connections to a Washington-appointed Ukrainian government. Just look at the large Chevron sign next to which Nuland speaks, and you will know what it is all about. http://www.sott.net/article/273602-US-Assistant-Secretary-of-State-Victoria-Nuland-says-Washington-has-spent-5-billion-trying-to-subvert-Ukraine

Nuland’s speech failed to alert the Ukraine protesters, who are determined to destroy the independence of Ukraine and to place their country in the hands of the IMF so that it can be looted like Latvia, Greece and every country that ever had an IMF structural adjustment program. All the monies that protesters are paid by the US and EU will soon be given back manyfold as Ukraine is “adjusted” by Western looting.

In her short speech the neoconservative agitator Nuland alleged that the protesters whom Washington has spent $5 billion cultivating were protesting “peacefully with enormous restraint” against a brutal government.

According to RT, which has much more credibility than the US State Department (remember Secretary of State Colin Powell’s address to the UN setting up the US invasion of Iraq with his “evidence” of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction, a speech Powell later disavowed as Bush regime disinformation), Ukrainian rioters have seized 1,500 guns, 100,000 rounds of ammunition, 3 machine guns, and grenades from military armories.

The human-rights trained Ukrainian police have permitted the violence to get out of hand. A number of police have been burned by Molotov cocktails. The latest report is that 108 police have been shot. A number are dead and 63 are in critical condition. http://rt.com/news/ukraine-kiev-firearms-weapons-police-934/ These casualties are the products of Nuland’s “peacefully protesting protesters acting with enormous restraint.” On February 20, the elected, independent Ukraine government responded to the rioters use of firearms by allowing police to use firearms in self-defense.

Perhaps the Russophobic western Ukrainians deserve the IMF, and perhaps the EU deserves the extreme nationalists who are trying to topple the Ukraine government. Once Ukrainians experience being looted by the West, they will be on their knees begging Russia to rescue them. The only certain thing is that it is unlikely that the Russian part of Ukraine will remain part of Ukraine.

During the Soviet era, parts of Russia herself, such as the Crimea, were placed into the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic, perhaps in order to increase the Russian population in Ukraine. In other words, a large part of today’s Ukraine–eastern and southern provinces–are traditional Russian territory, not part of historical Ukraine.

Until Russia granted Ukraine independence in the early 1990s, Ukraine had experienced scant independence since the 14th century and had been a part of Russia for 200 years. The problem with the grant of independence is that much of Ukraine is not Ukrainian. It is Russian.

As I have reported previously, Russia regards the prospect of Ukraine as a member of the EU with NATO with US bases on Russia’s frontier as a “strategic threat.” It is unlikely that the Russian government and the Russian territories in Ukraine will accept Washington’s plan for Ukraine. Whatever their intention, Secretary of State John Kerry’s provocative statements are raising tensions and fomenting war. The vast bulk of the American and Western populations have no idea of what the real situation is, because all they hear from the “free press” is the neoconservative propaganda line.

Washington’s lies are destroying not only civil liberties at home and countries abroad, but are raising dangerous alarms in Russia about the country’s security. If Washington succeeds in overthrowing the Ukrainian government, the eastern and southern provinces are likely to secede. If secession becomes a civil war instead of a peaceful divorce, Russia would not be able to sit on the sidelines. As the Washington warmongers would be backing western Ukraine, the two nuclear powers would be thrown into military conflict.

The Ukrainian and Russian governments allowed this dangerous situation to develop, because they naively permitted for many years billions of US dollars to flow into their countries where the money was used to create fifth columns under the guise of educational and human rights organizations, the real purpose of which is to destabilize both countries. The consequence of the trust Ukrainians and Russians placed in the West is the prospect of civil and wider war.
